About Dr. Donald Cleland

Dr. Donald Cleland, DDS, has been practicing dentistry in Orland Park for over 20 years. He is known among the community as being a reliable, educated, and gentle dentist that has the ability to put people at ease almost instantly. If you ask around Orland Park, you’ll find many happy patients that Dr. Cleland has helped throughout the years, from general dentistry needs to newer treatments like Invisalign™.

After receiving a bachelor’s and DDS from Loyola University in Chicago and later taught at Loyola Dental School. Dr. Cleland worked for the Cook County Department of Public Health before opening his practice in Orland Park. He prides himself on continuing his education, and has attended classes at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Pankey Institute, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He is also an Invisalign™ Provider and Perio Protect™ Certified Provider.

A father of five, Dr. Cleland enjoys spending time with his wife and children in his free time. Two of his children are currently serving in the military, and he is especially proud of their service to their country. When not spending time with family, Dr. Cleland is a big movie buff and an avid sports fan.

“I really try to take the time to get to know each and every patient. Even though I have had a number of patients over the years, I really try to keep a personal connection and figure out what I can do to make a particular patient’s visit that much more pleasant.”
